Since I’ve been working from home for a few days a week, I’ve really wanted to make sure my desk space is as aesthetically pleasing and productivity-inducing as possible. It’s not perfect, but I thought I would share my space in the hopes that it might give you some inspiration if we’re in a similar boat.
Basic overview of my desk. Most of my work is on the computer so I’m not too worried about desk space, but if I need to actually write then I’ll move the calendar and planner (which you can see more about in my planner post).
My clear acrylic organizer that’s home to post-its, gel pens, washi tape, regular tape, flags, etc. – essentially, anything a neurotic person like me could need.
The rest of the pens and pencils live in a mug, alongside with dog tchotchkes.
I got these copper wire baskets at WalMart that fit perfectly, although only one is currently occupied. Taking suggestions on a postcard for what the other should home. And yes, those are my vitamins.
My friend Christian got me this typewriter sticky note dispenser because I told him it was a dream of mine to have a real typewriter – I almost cried when he gave it to me. Then there’s food-themed stationery things, because why not?
In the tower part of my desk lives journals, books, coloring books, markers, and spare notebooks.
And no desk set up is complete without a mug of tea and a cute blanket to keep warm while working!
How do you pimp out your desk? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!
